About Me

I’m a licensed mental health counselor associate, currently offering therapy services virtually and in-person in Mountlake Terrace, north of Seattle. I received my Masters degree in youth and adolescent psychology from the University of Washington in 2023, where I conducted my clinical training at Seattle Children’s Hospital Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. I’m also a licensed practicing pharmacist, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University in 2008. Over the past 15+ years, a number of life events, including becoming a parent, losing a loved one to suicide, and seeing the impact of the pandemic on my patients, colleagues and kids, fueled a desire to shift from working behind the pharmacy counter to working more side-by-side parents, kids and adults in support of their mental health.

A bit more about me: I love being outdoors, the Kelce brothers, comedy, and spending time with my family and dog.

About HandsFull Therapy

Why “HandsFull..?” Personally, I love wordplay. The name originates from the expression of gratitude, “full hands, fuller heart.” It's also a frank acknowledgement of how busy life and overwhelming life can be, and a hat-tip to other “full” metaphors, such as “glass half-full” and “filling your bucket.”
